Brooklyn Museum Vs. MoMA

Both the Brooklyn Museum and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) are having parties Saturday March 1, and both sound pretty great. Which one will you go to? Here’s a handy-dandy comparison to help you decide:

PopRally presents at the MoMA:

Hours: 9 pm to 1 am

Cost: $12 advance, $15 at the door

Exhibit: Color Chart: Reinventing Color, 1950 to Today

Drinks: “A wide array of cocktails will be served”

Target Presents First Saturdays at Brooklyn Museum of Art:

Hours: 5 pm to 11 pm

Cost: Free

Exhibit: Celebrate Women’s History Month Carnival-Style, plus various lectures, movies, and hands-on projects.

Music: Tango band Los Chantas and BrazilianBeat Brooklyn’s DJ Sean Marquand spins Brazilian dance music, Mardi Gras rhythms, and soca beats saluting carnivals of the world

Drinks: Wine and beer at the cash bar and the cafe has food all night.
