Emmy the Great and other Brits
Emmy the Great (real name Emma-Lee Moss) was born in Hong Kong but now lives in London, writing and singing beautiful songs. She’s partnered up with Lightspeed Champion and has supported Martha Wainwright, Kimya Dawson, and Jamie T, among others. Check out her myspace to hear some tunes, and she will be playing the Rock Over London show at Bowery Ballroom with the Pigeon Detectives and Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong at the Bowery Ballroom on March 11. Meanwhile, that same night at the Mercury Lounge, Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, Sway, and Riz MC will be playing the other Rock Over London showcase. Get tickets here and here.
