Foo Fighters @ Irving Plaza

Mid to late September is often filled with miserable rain showers, cold deep puddles and little to no sunshine. Outdoor concerts this time of year usually end of being a bad buzz. However, this is the time of year when you have the best chance to see a great band in a very unique, weird or juicy venue. This is a very decent fall for gigs: Interpol playing the Gardens for this first time (with great openers), Kings of Leon and Manchester Orchestra southern rockin’ Radio City Music Hall and the Foo Fighters.
One week. 7 days for Metric fans. The Foo Fighters will take over the Fillmore (Irving Plaza) for what will no doubt be one of the year’s best examples of what we love about live music. The Foo Fighters push a buzz cloud everywhere they go. I guess great bands do. This will be a special show. Call everyone you know and find that one spare ticket.
Tickets can still be awarded on the Foo Fighters website.
