Alright, stop reading and get your own rock n’ roll. Are you a New York resident looking to swim in the music scene…or thinking about packing up your neighbor’s 85′ LeBaron and driving to New York to find the next eventual slice of musical myspace fame?
Here’s a great place to start…NY Rock’s Classified Ads for musicians. This is a solid site where a sliver of New York rock history will inevitably be created.
My two favorite lines in the classifieds….
“Fingers a must” (posting for a guitarist)
“Some songs written, please be creative. ” (I don’t know how Rock ‘please’ is, but I appreciate the manners.

Ahhhh, an ‘85 LeBaron. My parents had one of those. Good times.
There will be no musical fame for me, but my kids are headed down that path. All this guitar playing and singing that gives me a headache is going to be worth it someday. :)
