Getting into Sonic Youth

Sonic Youth and the reunited Feelies are playing a free show on July 4 as part of the River to River Festival in Battery Park. BUT, you can’t just waltz in; you need a ticket. And how to get said ticket? On June 12 at noon, hop onto the River to River website to make a reservation for tickets (2 is the max). Once you make a reservation they will tell you a downtown location and times to pick up your tickets, which must be done before July 4. It’s all a bit convoluted, but I suppose it is better than standing at line in Starbucks, which is what they’ve done in the past. Good luck to all! Oh, and check out River to River for the rest of their lineup this summer.
