Ghislain Poirier Playing New Yorker Festival

The New Yorker has announced full details of its annual festival, which is mostly amazing authors discussing their works, but there is always some music in there too. This year it will be a dance party with Montreal’s DJ Ghislain Poirier who is pretty fantastic. Hosted by The New Yorker’s pop music critic, Sasha Frere-Jones at the Hiro Ballroom on October 3, it’s sure to be a blast. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon. For the full schedule click here.
