Jose Gonzalez Played Webster Hall

by dklein on December 10th, 2007

Swedish-by-way-of-Argentina singer/guitarist extraordinaire Jose Gonzalez graced New York with his presence last night at Webster Hall. The packed venue was filled with the brilliant songwriter’s fans who listened attentively as he played such favorites as “Crosses,” “Down the Line,” and of course his unique version of The Knife’s “Heartbeats.” With a mix of old and new songs (from recent release In Our Nature), Gonzalez played a short but gorgeous set that showcased his excellent guitar skills and beautiful voice. Ending the night with a four-song encore left the crowd happy and satisfied.
