Alright, so who is this band Les Savy Fav?
The art rock/indie rock/experimental rock quartet has developed a steady following in New York.
The band is known for abrasive guitar and strange but cool bass melodies. Lead singer Tim Harrington’s lyrics are often insightful, sometimes poetic, but always worth really listening to. The band has a few tones - Harrington shouting his words over the music, or singing them to the melody. The Equestian demonstrates the former and What Would Wolves Do the latter.
The band can’t be denied of their show-entertainment…the kissing of audience members, the multiple outfits donned (including banana hammocks) and some cool-ass dancin’ and movin’ with some sweet belly shots.
