Liz Phair Playing Exile in Guyville
Although her recent albums have been pretty awful, Liz Phair used to put out some amazing stuff, the best of which is probably her first album, Exile in Guyville. Definitely one of my favorite albums of all time, it has been out of print for some time. It will soon be available on CD, vinyl, and in digital format and will include three bonus tracks taken from the original recordings.
Perhaps the most exciting part of this all is that she will be performing the entire album at Hiro Ballroom on June 25. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Performance in San Fracisco and Chicago are forthcoming.

I have to disagree. I like her new stuff. I know that’s not the “cool” thing to say, but I enjoy most of Liz Phair’s music.
