Magnetic Field(s)

As I go off to see the illustrious Magnetic Fields tonight at Town Hall, I think we should all take a moment of silence to mourn the passing of Magnetic Field, the great club in Brooklyn on Atlantic Ave. that will be closing its doors at the end of next month. After hosting such great bands like the Black Hollies, the Black Lips, Voxtrot, Gabby Glaser, and the Ponys over the last five years, they will be sorely missed. Check their website for the schedule for the last week of shows March 24-31 that will hopefully be a fitting send-off.
