Matmos
New-ish venue (Le) Poisson Rouge has some excellent upcoming shows in the next few weeks. Ex-Neutral Milk Hotel member Jeremy Barnes and his band A Hawk and A Hacksaw will be there on Monday July 14, the excellent Matmos will be playing two nights there (July 18 and 19), Travis Sullivan’s Bjorkestra will be playing on July 24, and the famed composer Max Richter will play three nights there at the end of the month (July 29, 30, 31).
