Kevin Devine is a a very talented musician who strums his acoustic guitar with an obvious love for his craft and path. He’s still playing gigs in continued support of Put Your Ghost to Rest as well as some new tracks like It’s Only Your Life. Check him out at the Highline Ballroom in New York on October 9th.

Indie

I love the fact that The Ataris are still doing their thing and that their fan base has enjoyed a long, rewarding ride. Great band. Great band live. Great catalog of tracks. Check some of them out here.

Major

So uncool that they’re the coolest band in town right now. They’re actually not in town because they’re touring Europe, but We Are Scientists are a killer band from Brooklyn who are blowing up the rock scene right now. Not to mention that band member and accomplished musician Chris Cain sports one of the best mustaches in rock.
