New York welcomes The Cult
Big night tonight. The Cult will take over the Hammerstein Ballroom.
As they say, The Cult (and this show) is for Rockers, Ravers, Lovers and Sinners.
Band members Ian Astbury, Billy Duffy, Chris Wyse, John Tempesta and Mike Dimkich will add to the history of the Hammerstein with a no doubt killer show.
On October 2nd of this year The Cult released a new album Born Into This, on the Roadrunner Records label. Prior to the album’s release, the band played festival and headline dates, and supported The Who, in Europe through the summer of 2007.
The hard rock band of the mid 80’s with psychedelic tones and an occasional classic rock vibe became one of Britain’s biggest bands.
Since the band’s inception in 1983, no lineup has lasted more than 2 years.
Classic track: Love Removal Machine
The new album is worth a few good listens…
