Ben Harper kicks off strong Late Night week

October 1, 2007 by Mike

On the tube…

It’s great week for music on Late Night TV this week.  Letterman kicks it off with Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals tonight (Monday).

Tuesday Dave follows up with John Fogerty - must accompany with a can of beer.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - Faith Hill, Rihanna and Iron & Wine.

I can imagine Conan’s music guy is stoked about producing another solid music line-up this week.

Tuesday Night, Conan will host Jason Schwartzman - sans Phantom Planet.  There will likely be a last minute band, but no word yet.  Jason…round up the band and join them for a track or two.

Wednesday features the pride of Buffalo Ani DiFranco (appearing after Tina Fey).  I hope she plays something super raw.

Primer Thursday…Bloc Party live on Conan…then get yourself to a bar for last call.

Friday rounds out with a performance by Animal Collective.

All in all…a solid week on the tube.
