In the Marlin room will be Grandmaster Flash and Dimitry!!! and in the Studio will be DJ Jess and DJ Alex Malfunction of Trash, along with a live performance by Ramesh of Voxtrot. Tickets are $10.

Charles Bissell Joins Okkervil River Who Are Touring With New Pornographers

Awesome band The Wrens (who really need to come out with a follow-up to 2003’s The Meadowlands) are donating their lead guitarist Charles Bissell to other awesome band Okkervil River. See, Brian Cassidy is having a baby and so will not be touring withe band anymore. That leaves Bissell to fill in on the band’s dates with yet another awesome band, the New Pornographers. Dates below (hopefully an NYC one will be added!):
