It’s for real this time. Williamsburg/Greenpoint club Studio B is shutting it’s doors for good on July 13. The club reports that all shows through July 12 will take place as planned. Better get over there to say your goodbyes! Here’s the remaining schedule:

Studio B is finally getting back in the swing of things and has a slew of tickets on sale for upcoming shows, a bunch of which are part of the Northside Festival happening June 11-14. If you get a badge for that, then you may not need tickets for some of these shows:

If you like to dance, there are some good shows going down this week.

• If you didn’t get tickets to the Bloc Party shows at Terminal 5, head to the official after party at The Studio at Webster Hall tonight (Wednesday) to see Busy P (Ed Banger) and Russell from Bloc Party DJ. It’s only $5 with an RSVP.
• At Studio B, Ladyhawke and Heartsrevolution are playing live, and Holy Ghost! and My Cousin Roy are doing DJ sets on Thursday. Tickets are still on sale.
• At Studio B on Friday is “10 Years with Bpitch Tour” with Ellen Alien, Thomas Muller, and Gui Boratto. Pretty stellar lineup. Tickets here.
• Finally, on Saturday at Studio B The Twelves from Brazil will be there with local NYC guy Matt Cash. Tickets here.
• But wait, you want to go to all three shows at Studio B? Great news! They are selling a $30 pass to all three nights! Score.
• Questlove continues his residency at (le) Poisson Rouge Thursday night with his FANtastic show.
• Lemonade returns to NYC to play Death By Audio with Skeletons, Graffiti Monsters, and Best Hits on Saturday.
  

Both Ladyhawke and Late of the Pier are each playing two upcoming shows; one at Bowery Ballroom and one at Studio B.

• Ladyhawke is at Bowery Ballroom on March 24 (tickets) and Studio B on March 26 with special guests TBA (tickets)
• Late of the Pier is at Bowery Ballroom on April 1 (tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon) and they will be at Studio B with The Whip on April 3 (tickets)

Musically related, of course This stuff is a little “off the beaten track” in case you’re getting sick of the usual venues and music!

• This Friday is the second outdoors show at South Street Seaport. This time Project Jenny, Project Jan is playing and Black Gold will be doing a DJ set. It’s FREE.
• Wavves from San Diego and NODZZZ from San Francisco will be at the Market Hotel on Friday night and at Less Artists More Condos on Saturday night. These are two buzz-worthy bands and I highly recommend checking them out!
• UK dance sensation Little Boots will be at Studio B Friday night.
• One of my new favorite bands, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, will be at the Mercury Lounge with Depreciation Guild (another goody) and cAUSE co-MOTION on Saturday night. Check back here for an interview with The Pains of Being Pure at Heart soon!!! Also, they will be at the Bell House on March 13 with Let’s Wrestle if you miss them this time.
• Matthew Herbert will be doing a DJ set at Studio B on Saturday night.
• TK Webb and The Visions are playing with Children at the Highline Ballroom on Saturday night for FREE.
• Santos Party House is hosting Mister Saturday Night–a dance party by New Release with full-time residents Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin, part-time resident The Twilite Tone, and James Lavelle from UNKLE and Mo’Wax, Project Jenny, Project Jan Live, and Omar S on Saturday night…obviously.

According to the blog Grub Street, Studio B is for sale for $1 million and $22,000 per month in rent. The club has a had a lot of trouble, what with their Greenpoint neighbors noise complaints and their illegal rooftop building this summer. They have events listed on their calendar through the end of the year, and then one event in January: Lindstrom on the 29th. Wonder if that will get moved?

Also, promoter Justine D announced that she is moving to (le) Poisson Rouge, where she plans to “bring all the great talent I had at my former projects like MOTHERFUCKER, NIGHT TIME @ Don Hill’s and STUDIO B.” She then announced the DFA Holiday Party which will be at LPR on Friday, December 19 with DJs James Murphy, Pat Mahoney, Juan Maclean, Shit Robot, Matt Cash & Invisible Conge People (live). Advance tickets are only $5, so get ‘em today!

Feel like dancing tonight? Well you have a few options to choose from:

• There will be great dance music in all rooms at Webster Hall. The Main Room has Switch, D.I.M., A.C. Slater, and  The Captain. The Marlin Room has Grandmaster Flash and Dimitry!!!. • Get Down! is at Studio B with Todd Terry and Junior Sanchez, along with UK producer Chewy Chocolate Cookies and resident djs Alexander Technique and Van Scott.

New York Magazine actually puts on some pretty fun events, and they have two interesting ones coming up. On November 19 Xiu Xiu will be playing at a “Bad Art Auction” hosted by Judah Friedlander and on December 3 at (le) Poisson Rouge (Tickets) and Ted Leo will be playing a full set and then will become the backing band for karaoke, hosted by Andrew WK at Studio B. Tickets here. I was at the last indie karaoke with Of Montreal and it was awesome.

Remember Studio B? They were shut down for a while but have finally reopened, although I am still waiting for a full schedule. But tonight they wre having a celebration of 20 years of Acid House music and culture:
