Yeasayer and Man Man at Brooklyn Masonic
Two stellar bands played the ornate Brooklyn Masonic Temple on Friday night: Brooklyn locals Yeasayer and Philly’s extravagant Man Man.
Yeasayer are a tight, pulsating band that easily got the crowd pumped up. They played excellent songs like “2080″ and “Sunrise.”
Man Man came out in full mustachioed force to rock the room. Playing songs from new album Rabbit Habit as well as Six Demon Bag, they kept the energy up. The songs from the new album are a bit smoother and they worked well live. Lead singer Honus Honus was in top form, jumping on equipment and donning a gold sparkly headband and ripped up shirt at certain points. It was totally party time at the temple.
